Linkstorm is seeking a Sales Manager to close an existing list of blue-chip prospects (major advertisers, agencies, and web publishers/portals), build new business and drive significant revenue. The role demands a dynamic, aggressive, results-oriented individual with a consultative approach.

Linkstorm is an interactive technology company with a product that dramatically improves the performance of online advertising campaigns. Linkstorm overlays cascading menus onto any creative unit, which provides users with multiple choices and information. When a user rolls over the creative, Linkstorm menus appear. Linkstorm's product helps advertisers communicate more information in a single piece of creative. It also results in a better user experience by facilitating easier navigation. Linkstorm's current client list includes some of the best known advertisers in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize revenue for the company
  • Engage senior level clients and agency decision makers
  • Develop a territory plan and aggressively prospect, evaluate and identify best opportunities
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments with prospects
  • Drive prospects quickly to close
  • Accurately forecast revenue growth

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years work experience
  • 2+ years calling on agencies/clients in the online space, ideally for a media or advertising technology company
  • Strong track record of closing business
  • Understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
  • Consultative sales style
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Superior prospecting, negotiating and value-selling experience
  • BA/BS required

Location

On-site in our Manhattan office located in the Flatiron District.

Compensation

Package in the $100k neighborhood including stock options and commissions
