Develop an ad system that would effectively drive traffic deep into Cisco's content rich site.
Cisco was currently augmenting their traditional navigation with small 'banner ads' placed strategically around the site, deep linking into certain topics. It worked, but not to its' potential.
Having successfully deployed Linkstorms for external advertising purposes, Cisco decided to try again with their house ads pertaining to "Unified Communications". Linkstorm developed menus structured around various qualifying questions to help visitors navigate directly to the sub-topic that best addressed their information needs.
Linkstorm designed a multi-destination menu that could be unfurled via a roll-over at any time during video playback. While they watched the video, viewers were able to browse Linkstorm menus to find their way to information most relevant to them.
Cisco realized a 400% increase in clicks from the Linkstorm-enabled house ad compared to the traditional version. In addition, Linkstorm was able to provide Cisco with detailed metrics on which sub-topics and questions that were of greatest interest to their visitors. Try out one of the ads here.
